Groove method
The 5 following groove method are available :
Complete cycle
The groove is roughed, using several plunges if required. The flanks are finished at the end of the cycle. As an option, the bottom of the groove can be cylindered. The tool radius compensations are NOT used.
Finishing without compensation
The groove is considered as already having been roughed. Only the flanks are machined. As an option, the bottom of the groove can be cylindered. The tool radius compensations are NOT used.
Finishing with compensation
The groove is considered as already having been roughed. Only the flanks are machined. As an option, the bottom of the groove can be cylindered. The tool radius compensations ARE used.
Only roughing
The groove is roughed, using several plunges if required with an offset. The bottom of the groove is NOT cylindered. The tool radius compensations are NOT used.
Roughing and finishing
The groove is roughed, using several plunges if required. The flanks are finished at the end of the cycle. As an option, the bottom of the groove can be cylindered. The tool radius compensations ARE used.
