Threading

The tool exit movement is done using the numerical command machine threading cycle, i.e. by  synchronizing the spindle rotation and the tool feed movement, as during the real threading operation.

Rapid

When a groove is present at the end of the thread, the tool exit movement can be rapid, in the middle of the groove, without synchronizing the spindle rotation and the tool feed movements.
