Roughing : Feed rates

 

Plunge feed rate

This value defines the feed per revolution to be used during the plunge movement, when

we machine a pocket for example

Or the lead in is defined as perpendicular, tangential or angular (in the 'lead in/lead out' tab)

Feed rate to the starting point

This value defines the feed per revolution to be used from the starting point to the first point of the tool path.

Lead out feed rate

This value defines the feed per revolution to be used during the lead out movement at the end of each cut in the rough cycle (for example when the lead out is defined as perpendicular or tangential in the 'lead in/lead out' tab)

Levelling lead in feed rate

This value defines the feed per revolution to be used during the lead in movement at the beginning of the levelling pass in the rough cycle.

Levelling lead out feed rate

This value defines the feed per revolution to be used during the lead out movement at the end of the levelling pass in the rough cycle.
