The tool makes a series of successive plunges, all parallel, and spaced out according to the pitch, going from the stock profile to the finished profile. Each of these plunge is interrupted depending on the cut depth. At each interruption, the tool rises up to the same distance value to break the chip. A temporisation is carried out at the bottom of each plunge.(Details).
The volume of the initial material to remove is first cut in X according to the cutting depth to define elementary volume. Each elementary volume, is then roughed out according to the first method. All the elementary volumes are machined respecting the direction ‘start element towards finish element’ (Details).
The volume of the initial material to remove is first cut in X according to the cutting depth to define elementary volume. Each elementary volume, is then roughed out according to the first method. All the elementary volumes are machined alternating the direction ‘start element/finish element’( Details).
The tool dives, until it reaches the value of the cut depth, and then cylinders the piece by using its right or left flank. The operation is repeated until the finished profile is obtained. In mono directional mode, the rolling is only done in one direction (Details).
The tool plunges, until it reaches the value of the cut depth, and then cylinders the piece by using its right or left flank. The operation is repeated until the finished profile is obtained. In mono directional mode, the rolling is done alternately going from the start element to the end element, and vice versa (Details).
The tool required for this operation should be able to plunge and cut on the left flank as well as on the right flank. First the tool plunges with an angle until its maximum cutting depth. After the tool finishes this first cut parallel to the X axis. For the next plunge, the tool makes the same in the opposite direction until the tool reaches the finish part (Details).
The volume of the initial material to remove is first cut in X according to the cutting depth to define elementary volume. Each elementary volume, is then roughed out according to the first method. The first plunge is defined by the parameter "First plunge".(Details). |
