Radial turning Grooving/Facing : Plunge

Within TopSolid'Cam, it is possible to descend into or outside the material. With this button, the user can define which modes he wants to use.

:

Feed rate

The plunge will be made using the working feed rate of the tool. This feed rate can be modified using the cutting settings tab in the dialog box.

Rapid

The plunge will be done using the rapid feed rate of the machine.

Warning:

This dialog box  does not allow to ask TopSolid'Cam to make descents in feed rate or rapid. It's ONLY defined the plunge modes  to be applied for these two solutions.
