Centering (Turning)

Make a preliminary hole, according to Z axis of the machine tool, and generally on the axis, by starting or not the fixed drilling cycle of the machine tool command director.
Of course, for this turning cycle,
there is a part rotation and the tool is fixed.

Select the menu
"Turning | Cycle | Centering" or click the
icon.
Designate the cylindrical face, or the point from which the centering operation will be done.
Select the tool required for the machining operation. The list proposes a selection of tools whose diameter is inferior or equivalent to the diameter of the selected cylinder.
Indicate the centering depth to apply. The user can define this length on the screen. After, in the dialog box, it will be possible to modify it.
Specify the different parameters in the tabs dialogue box which appears.
Enter the comment which appears on the machine block listing meant for the NC operator. This comment will also appear when the user wishes to take a look at or modify an operation, using the Operation/ Operations manager function.
Eventually, enter a codified remark which will be interpreted by the post-processor, in a specific manner predefined by the user and the post-processor redactor.
Validate entries made into the dialogue box by clicking on OK.
