Purpose

Define the Lead in/ Lead out.

Lead in / Lead out  type

Tangential

The lead in / lead out of the tool is done circularly according to a circle arc defined by the following radius and angle parameters.

Perpendicular

The lead in / lead out of the tool is done perpendicular to the finish part.

Angular

The lead in / lead out of the tool is done according to a specific angle.

 

Parameters

Overlength

This value defines the distance to be added to the length of the first contouring movement so as to ensure a complete machining of the finish part.

Distance

With the angular and perpendicular lead in / lead out, this value defines the length of the lead in / lead out.

Angle

With the angular lead in / lead out, this value defines the angle to use for the lead in / lead out.

Radius
