Operations

Operations are classified according to their nature.  Thus, facing operations appear before centering operations; centering operations appear before milling operations.  This is regardless of the tools’ nature used.

The order in which operations are sorted is defined in the “CAM_SORT.PART” file.  This file contains a list of all elementary operations TopSolid'Cam can perform and their position in the file defining operations’ priority level, relative to one another.  Thus, note that by default, a facing operation (“Facing nibble rough”) appears before a centering operation (“Center”).  Thus, the facing operation has a higher priority level and will therefore be taken into consideration first, if the route sheet is re-processed, according to operations.
