Separation of the operation according to the useful length the tool
To realize the separation of the operation, TopSolid'Cam takes into account the exit length of tool and of the first diameter of the links.
In it, TopSolid'Cam adds securities (offsets) on the length and on the diameter (see drawing below).
In black and orange-coloured, it's the tool as it's defined by TopTool.
In green, it's the tool which will be taken into account in calculations to know where to divide the tool path
Offset on chuck distance
It's the distance (A). The distance (C) is the distance described in TopTool and which can be modified in the current operation
Chuck distance
It's the distance (B) which will be really taken into account for the calculation.
B = C - A. This value is shown for information
Offset on tool holder diameter
It's the distance (D). This value is given to the diameter.
The diameter (F) is described in TopTool.
Tool holder max. diameter
It's the diameter (E) q which will be really taken into account for the calculation.
E = F + D. This value is shown for information
