Lead out direction

This parameter defines the mode to be used for lead out moves on the area on which a contouring operation is applied.

Different options are available :

XY - Z

The tool moves in rapid feed rate, in XY, until the retraction point is used. Then, it retracts until the exit altitude is reached.

Z - XY

The tool retracts until the exit altitude is reached.  Then, it moves in XY until the next machining’s starting point is reached.

XYZ

The tool moves according to the three axes simultaneously.
