Retraction between points

This parameter defines

Three solutions are available:

Retraction between points  = Retract to clearance plane

Z1 = Value defined in clearance plane (Absolute value)

Z2 = Retract plane between two points

In this case,

the retract between two points  = the starting Z and  the final Z

(Z2) =  (Z1)

Retraction between points  = Do not retract

Z1 = Value defined in clearance plane (Absolute value)

Z2 = Starting Z of  the operation + Security distance of the operation (usually 2mm in the default values)

Retraction between points  = Retract of obstacle height

Z1 = Value defined in clearance plane (Absolute value)

H1 = Obstacle height (Incremental value)

Z2 = Starting z of the operation + H1 + Security distance of the operation (usually 2mm in the default values)

This method is usually used with manuals cycles.

Another optimized solution exists when the finish part and the stock part are defined.

From the operations manager :

In the cycle operation,  select the solution  Retraction between points  = Do not retract

In this case, as the check collision is activated, the Z2 value will be automatically updated according to the maximum height of the part or clamps between two points.

Z1 = Value defined in clearance plane (Absolute value)

Z2 = Starting z of the operation +  Security distance of the operation (usually 2mm in the default values) + Obstacle height (part or clamps) if necessary
