Purpose

Check graphically the machining errors of the swarf machining. TopSolid'Cam compares the result of the 5 axis machining on two curves with the finish part.

Understanding the function

For every point of the tool path, TopSolid'Cam calculates distance between the tool and the surfaces of concerned parts. Visually, a game of colour defines the intervals of errors.

How to use

1. Select the menu "4/5 axis | swarf machining | Verify"

2. If there are several parts, indicate the part to machine.

3. Click the operation to verify

4. The dialog box appears, as well as a cloud of colours on the surfaces of the finish part.

5. Modify the tolerance comparison to analyze these colors (Red = Undercut, Green = Fine , Blue = Overcut)

6. Click on the Exit button to finish.
