Dialog box
Edit a 5 axis machining to be able to modify the normal.
Of course, ONLY the 5 axis operations in continuous mode can be selected.
With this function, on a 5 axis machining it's possible to :
· Invert the selected normals.
· Orient the selected normals to a point.
· Fix the selected normals on the same direction as another one.
· Rotate the selected normals.
· Delete the selected normals.
· Fix the direction of the selected normals with a vector (axis, sement, IJK)
· Orient the selected normals to be able to have a linear variation
The selected normals which are updated are NOT projected again on the part (for the 5 axis sweeping for example)
Select the menu "4/5 axis | Modify 5 axis normals"
Click the operation to modify.
All the normals appear in magenta colour. It's possible to modify the size of the normals : : Allows to multiply by 2 the size of all the normals. : Allows to divide by 2 the size of all the normals.
Click the first normal to modify.
Select the last normal to modify.
All normal included among the first and the last selected normals, are also selected. To select only one normal, just click for the last normal the same as for the first one.
Select the required modification in the dialog box which appears.
It's possible to start again from the point 4 for other modifications.
The icon confirms the modifications.
With the icon , it's possible to cancel all the current modifications
