Cutting method

TopSolid'Cam proposes two cutting methods to realize parts. The user should determine the one that is the most adapted for his part.

Transversal

When the operator chooses a transversal cutting method, the tool cross the part in the direction of curves guides, so by privileging the axis of rotation in continuous.

Longitudinal

When the operator chooses a longitudinal cutting method, the tool cross the part in the direction of the axis of rotation.
