Link management
This parameters allows the user to define the movement link between two passes:
Rapid
Movement between two passes is done in rapid on the clearance plan.
Fmax work feed rate
Movement between two passes is done with the maximum feed rate defined in the machine, WITHOUT passing by the clearance plane.
Indeed, the purpose of this parameter is to avoid rapid jumps in the clearance plane.
These maximum feed rate movements will follow the same tool path with a radial shift equal to the security distance of the tool.
Feed rate modulation in work or rapid on tool path length
Purpose here is to be able to privilege the link movement which will give a time of the fastest movement.
Indeed, FMAX's use can in certain cases ( long passes) takes much longer time than to go back to the clearance plane.
With this cursor, we can so indicate to TopSolid'Cam to mix jumps on the clearance plane and the FMAX according to the ratio between the distance and the time.
