Minimum /  Maximum angle

This button allows the user to select the tool’s angular machining area on the part’s finished surface.  The user can thus limit the tool path, relative to the shape of the part to be created in order to avoid machining too many of the latter’s steep or shallow areas.

Min. Steep / shallow (1)

This field allows the user to define the angle, for example, relative to the horizontal, and defining the top angular limitation of the tool’s machining area.

Max. Steep / shallow (2)

This field allows the user to define the angle, relative to the horizontal, and defining the bottom angular limitation of the tool’s machining area.

Use path slope : It's the normal to the finish part which is used to calculate the angle limitations.

Use path slope : It's the tool path which is used to calculate the angle limitations.

This use path slope is available only for radiused and slot mill. For ball nose, the result is the same for the 2 cases.
