Cutting method

Constant scallop machining defines pseudo concentric paths, by using the ‘propagation’ calculation method.

The operator must define the tool path direction, relative to the calculation type used. This allows control of the calculation method’s machining direction.

From start to end

Shows that the tool path respects the calculation propagation’s direction.

From end to start

Shows that the tool path moves in a direction opposite to the calculation propagation.
