Bounding type

When contours act as a machining’s boundaries, TopSolid'Cam allows definition of the tool’s last position, relative to these limitation curves, during sweep machining on the part’s finished surface.

On

tool path limitation is performed in a manner which forces the tool center to stop perpendicularly to the contour.

Before

tool path limitation is performed in a manner which forces the tool to stop BEFORE the contour, so that the tool is tangential to the contour.
