Plunge method

This parameter defines how the passes are defined in Z. This parameter is useful ONLY for a conical tool. For the other kind of tools (right-hand side tool like slot mill),this parameter has no incidence.

Direct

All the passes in Z of the machining are identical in the plan XY.

Slope

For each pass in Z, the profile used for multi contouring is calculated according to the conic shape of the tool (conical tool). For a right-hand side tool, this parameter has no incidence, all the passes are identical in Z
