Lead in direction

This parameter defines the mode to use when approaching the material to machine, at a rapid feed .

The available choices are  :

XY - Z

The tool moves at a rapid feed rate in the XY plane, until it reaches the descent point. Then it goes down to it’s working altitude.

Z - XY

The tool goes down at the working plane, then moves along the XY plane in order to reach the start point of the machining operation.

XYZ

The tool moves along the axes simultaneously.
