Milling forms analysis

Search for all the milling pocketing features of the part to manufacture them by applying automatically adapted process.
This function is useful when the file is defined in TopSolid.
TopSolid'Cam analyzes the shapes and automatically detects the features (pockets) already created on the part with TopSolid. Thus, the processes that are most appropriate for each entity’s machining are also offered.
The running mode can be illustrated as follows:
Design (TopSolid): pocket is set
Manufacturing (TopSolid'Cam): pocket machining
=> Pocket Processing = Rough Rest Machining + Rest Finishing Machining on Bottom + Finishing Contouring Operation
This “feature” notion allows the user to choose between several processes to create pocket shapes.
TopSolid'Cam realizes a study of the TopSolid tree view to get back all the pockets features. TopSolid'Cam also looks for all the parameters defining these pockets like information about the geometry, fillet, chamfer, ...
Call the “Milling
forms analysis” menu or click on icon.
Select the pockets to machine with the contextual menu or with "space bar".
Define the process to use for each pocket.
Click on "Machine" button to make the tool path.
