The Offsets

TopSolid'Cam allows the user to manage different offsets, whether they are lateral, along z, on the finished part or the island.

Bottom stock to leave

This value sets the material to leave on top of the face to machine. The purpose of this operation is to leave some material that will be removed in a finishing pass.

Stock to leave on side

This value sets the material to leave on the side of a face (and all the adjoining faces). The purpose once again is to leave some material that will be removed in a finishing pass.

Stock to leave on side (island)

This value defines the material to leave on the lateral faces of the islands located in the middle of a face.

This option is not available if TopSolid'Cam did not detect any islands.

Stock to leave on top

This value defines the material to leave on the top faces of the islands located in the middle of a face.

This option is not available if TopSolid'Cam did not detect any islands.
