TopSolid'Cam defines two types of clearances. The first clearance is measured along the axis of the tool and the other the peripheral clearance (On the side)

These clearances define the transition between a rapid and working movement.

These two values are per defined in the default values of TopSolid'Cam. It's, of course possible to modify them from the Menu "Edit -> Change default values".

Important:

These distances are used for all the operations. They are not linked to the current tool
