Purpose
Select the current machine.
The calculation of tool paths on a part requires that this part is positioned on a machine. This machine must have been defined first, so as to it that TopSolid'Cam have knowledge of its various possibilities.
How to use
Select the menu "Equipment / Machine / Select".
Select the machine to use in the pull down list below.
Note
The user can replace the current machine with another machine, simply by selecting a new one. However, the new machine’s capacity must necessarily be at least equal to that of the original machine. For example, TopSolid'Cam can replace a 3 axes machine with a 4 axes machine, but the reverse operation cannot be done. Also, when replacing a 4 or 5 axes machine with another 4 or 5 axes machine, the axes must be identical (A, B or C can only be replaced with A, B or C).
