Description:

Allows associations to be defined, i.e. faces, beams or solids gathered in functional entities, in order that they can be displayed separately in the post-processor.

General principle:

1. If the associations have already been created, go straight to number 3.  Otherwise, enter the name of the new association.

2. Select the geometries to be included in this assocation. You can change the selection mode by clicking on to select solids or to select faces or beams.

3. Select an existing association from the drop-down list, or click on and enter the name of the new association. Select the geometries to be added to/removed from this association.

Specific point(s):

 Associations are color-coded, the key to which is displayed in a legend window .

An association that does not point to any geometry (e.g. if it has been emptied) is automatically deleted.

Once an association has been created, it is put in the "ASSOCIATIONS SET", and can be edited at any time in the symbolic tree .

If a contact problem is defined, associations will not be processed.  They will be replaced by the definition of the different bodies.
