Description:

Allows a convection to be defined on edges (in 2D) or on faces (in 3D).

General principle:

  1. Select the locations where the convection is to be created.

  2. Enter the convection coefficient value in a unit that is compatible with W/m².°C.

  3. Enter the temperature intensity in a unit that is compatible with degrees Celsius (°C).

  4. Set the load's annotation text or click on .

Specific point(s):

 Convection is shown as elongated S-shapes.

 The convection is automatically placed in the thermal data at the time it is created, irrespective of the current load case .  The current load case is reinstalled on exiting the function.
