Numerous other enhancements have also been added to SURFCAM Velocity II.
If you have a wheel-type mouse, you can zoom in to the position of the pointer instead of the center of the graphics area by spinning the wheel backwards. To zoom out, spin the wheel forward.

When you update or regenerate operations, you are now prompted to confirm the change.
In the Operations Manager, right-click on a Setup and click Update All or Regenerate All.

The dialog that appears provides an option to turn the confirmation off in the future with the Don’t Ask Me Again check box.

Click OK to perform the update or regeneration. Click Cancel to stop it. Click Don't ask me again to prevent this warning.
To display the acknowledgement again after it has been turned off:
Click Tools > Options from the menus.
In the left pane, click NC Defaults > Operations Manager.
Check one or both options for operation acknowledgement: Require Acknowledgement to Update Operations and/or Require Acknowledgement to Regenerate Operations.
In 3 Axis Cut, surfaces now change color to indicate they are selected.

To change the highlight color:
Click Tools > Options from the menus.
In the left pane, click Colors > System.
Double-click the color box for the Surface Highlight entry.
You can now define the display location of the Construction View at startup.
To set the screen location of the origin:
Click Tools > Options from the menus.
In the left pane, click System > Startup.
Click the Origin Location pulldown and choose Lower Left, Upper Left, Upper Right, Lower Right, or Center.
From the menus, click File >
New or click the New
button (
).
For example, the following shows Origin Location set to Center.

After the Layer dialog is resized, SURFCAM remembers the resizing for the rest of the session.
Click the Set Layer button (
).
Drag any corner to resize the Set Layer dialog.
Click the OK button to exit the dialog.
Click the Set Layer button (
) again. Notice that the dialog
retains its size.
All surface arrows can be shown or hidden in one step.
To show or hide all surface arrows:
Open a file that contains surfaces.
From the menus, click Edit > Surfaces.
Click the Arrow button.

A new button has been added to the toolbar.

Click the button to change it to one of the following:
OnArrow - Shows all
the surface arrows of selected surfaces.
OffArrow - Hides all
the surface arrows of selected surfaces.
ToggleArrow - Hides
all visible arrows, and shows all hidden arrows, of selected surfaces.
Choose a method to select surfaces.
