Velocity II has added more support for SolidWorks parts or assemblies and Parasolids x_t or x_b files with additional import options in the File Open dialog to open these files more easily.
From the menus, click File > Open. In the Files of type field, choose SolidWorks, SolidWorks Assemblies, or Parasolid. For convenience, a new Options button appears below the Cancel button.

Make your changes to the Solidworks/Parasolids dialog and then click OK. You return to the File Open dialog and Velocity II reads in the chosen file using the options as set.

You can also set these options as defaults by clicking Tools > Options on the menus and then click Files > Read > SolidWorks/Parasolid.
