Create NPT type threads with additional tool types using a dynamic, graphical user interface. Changes to the Thread Mill operation dialog improve the ease of use and let you create tapered threads.
From the menus, click NC > 2 Axis > Thread Mill.
The new Thread Mill dialog box has 4 tabs instead of 3. Many settings from the Cut Control tab now appear under the new Thread Data tab. The Thread Data tab has new settings and a new interface.
There are two new Thread Mill tool types. Under the Tool Information tab, click the Select Tool button.
Two new tool types are available. In addition to the existing standard Thread Mill tool, there is the new tapered multi-point thread mill and the new single point thread mill.
