The new FaroArmŪ digitizer has USB support. The Faro USB driver is normally installed with the digitizer. SURFCAM also provides the driver. If you need to install the driver, open the file Setup.exe in the folder..\Surf2004\FaroArm.
The new FaroArmŪ digitizer now handles coordinate system alignments, probe calibration, and the like, without the aid of any additional programs, such as Caliper 3D.
