Create a new setup section. Setup Sections are used to group together operations stored in separate INC files that may be processed all at the same time. If a Setup Section is selected for running a process (such as Post Processing, Creating a Setup Sheet, running SURFCAM Verify, etc.), the files in the section are all merged and processed together. To create a setup section, all you need to specify is a description, which may contain any information you desire that identifies the section. The create setup section dialog box is used to enter this description. |
F3 |
Create a new operation using the existing INC file. First, select the setup section. The operation will be added to the end of this section. It can be moved to the desired order for processing after it is created. This command is intended primarily to allow inclusion of pre-existing files into the project, but it can also be used to add a merged file as a single operation. To create an operation, specify the path to the existing INC file to be used and the operation type. The Create Operation dialog box is used to enter this information. You can also create operations for a set of files by selecting the name of an INC project file. The file must have a .PRJ file extension in order to be recognized as a project. An INC project file is a simple text file with the one name of each INC file per line. |
CTRL+X |
Cut an operation, a setup section, or an entire project from the operations list and copy it to the clipboard. This is a safe way to delete operations since they can be pasted back—as long as the clipboard remains unchanged—if you change your mind.
CTRL+C |
Copy an operation, a setup section, or a project to the clipboard. Use the Paste command to make a copy of the INC file in the same or another project. |
CTRL+P |
Paste the contents of the clipboard into the operations list. If the clipboard contains a single operation, it is pasted to the currently selected setup section. If the clipboard contains one or more sections, they are pasted at the end of the project. You can then move operations into the desired order for processing. |
