The minimum horizontal distance the tool must move when adjustments to Pitch and Length are made due to space restrictions at the plunge location. If, on the part, there is not enough space available for the tool to move this distance, without gouging, the tool will do a Plunge move. If Minimum is set to zero SURFCAM will do a Ramp or Helical plunge move if there is room for one.
