Straight Line
The lead moves are along a line normal to
the contour. The wire makes a 90° turn to travel along the contour.
Teardrop
The lead moves consist of a line from the Retract Point to one end of an arc.
The other end of the arc is located at the intersection of the normal to the contour and the toolpath along the contour.
The arc is tangent to the toolpath. You will
enter the radius and angular measure of this arc.
