A leadin move is a tool move that is put between a plunge move and the first cut move. A leadout move is a tool move away from the part after the last cut move.
SURFCAM controls the leadin and leadout moves with the parameters on the Leadin and Leadout Information dialog boxes. The dialog boxes are displayed when the Leadin and Leadout buttons are clicked. The parameters on the two dialog boxes are the same.
