If you set Check Surfaces ON, SURFCAM prompts you to select the "Surfaces to avoid" before it creates the toolpath. Check Surfaces set ON activates the Cut Check Surfaces option. To completely avoid selected check surfaces, set Cut Check Surfaces OFF. To cut above selected check surfaces by the Check Surface Clearance value, set Cut Check Surfaces ON.
