The Plunge Type button is not on the Face Mill Cut Control tab since most plunge moves will be made to the side of the material. Instead there is a Plunge Rate parameter. Choose Plunge, Feed, or Rapid. Plunge and Feed take their values from the Tool Information tab. Rapid refers to the rapid plunge rate of the machine being used.
