When Wire Compensation is checked, the system will approach the first cut and stop this distance before the part and add the Comp Left or Comp Right record. When Wire Compensation is unchecked, the system begins the cut with a single move.
Just before retracting, the system cancels the compensation. Once retracted, the system then approaches the cut and follows the rules defined above.
Note: Wire Compensation/Retract Distance can also be used to disable Wire Compensation. A value of zero turns off wire compensation.
