Cutting Method

On is available for Contour cuts only. The Side Clearance and Amount To Remove On Sides fields will not be available.

On drives the center of the tool along the path of the chained elements. Use this to cut a groove or slot or to perform engraving.

Climb

This option causes a clockwise tool to move on the left side of the material, or a counterclockwise tool to move on the right side of the material. Climb cutting normally gives the best finish.

Conventional

This option causes a counterclockwise tool to move on the left side of the material, or a clockwise tool to move on the right side of the material.
