Groove Width controls the width of the groove, as indicated by the graphic to the right of the setting. The graphic changes for different tool types. For straight (non-dovetail) tools the graphics appears as shown right.
If you choose a dovetail tool, the graphic changes, as shown.
The Groove Width value must be greater than or equal to the diameter of the selected cutting tool. If you enter a value less than the diameter of the selected cutting tool, a warning message appears.
