Finish Depth of Cut controls the depth of cut for the finish pass or passes. This depth is measured normal (perpendicular) to the chamfer face.

Finish Depth of Cut is not available if the Finish box is not checked.

Example

In the following illustration, the picture on the left sets Number of Finish Passes to 1. The distance between passes 3 and 4 is the Finish Depth of Cut. The Maximum Rough Depth of Cut controls the distance between the first three passes. The picture on the right sets the Number of Finish Passes to 3. The distance between the last four passes is the Finish Depth of Cut.
