If this box is checked, the tool remains at the level of the cutting passes.
This parameter depends on the selections for the two Clear Part parameters and the Facing Method parameter.
When the Zig face method is selected,
After each Zig cut, the tool moves around the outside of the part to the start position for the next cut. The tool remains at the same Z level during this move.
If Clear Part on Every Cut is checked, the box is active, but the box is not checked.
If the Clear Part on Last Cut Only parameter is checked, the box is not active and not checked.
If neither of the Clear Part boxes is checked, this box is not active and not checked.
When the Zig Zag or the Spiral face method is selected,
If Clear Part on Every Cut is checked, this box is active and checked by SURFCAM.
If the Clear Part on Last Cut Only parameter is checked, SURFCAM checks this box and makes it not active.
If neither of the Clear Part boxes is checked, SURFCAM checks this box and makes it not active.
