To create a circle, click Create > Circle. The following menu appears.

In SURFCAM a circle element is a 360 degree arc sweep. Most methods for creating a circle are the same as for creating an arc.
3 Points
The Select Point menu appears. Specify 3 points to create a circle.
You can select each point with a different command on the Select Point menu.
Center / Radius
Enter the radius, and the Select Point menu appears. Select the center of the circle.
Center / Diameter
Enter the diameter, and the Select Point menu appears. Select the center of the circle.
2 Points / Radius
The Select Point menu appears. Select the first point to define the center. Select the second point to define the radius. The distance between the points defines the radius.
2 Points / Diameter
The Select Point menu appears. Select two points to define the diameter. The midpoint of the select points marks the center.
Tangent 2
Create a circle tangent to two elements. Click Tangent 2, and the Tangent 2 (fillet) menu appears.
Tangent 3
Select three elements. You may select points,
lines, arcs and circles. A circle with the tangent points closest to the
selected locations appears, and Other (
)appears on the menu. Use Other
to select a different possibility.
Offset
You can offset a circle or arc by a specific distance from a location of your choice, or tangent to a line or arc. The Offset menu appears.
