All of the possible Edit Menu commands for the SURFCAM product line are displayed on the following menu.

Color SURFCAM will display a 16-color selection bar. Click a color to change the color of one or more elements using the standard Select menu commands. To choose a different color for more changes, click Back. See example Edit a Color. Flip Element Create the complement of an existing arc or vector. For an arc, the portion of the circle that is not currently displayed will be displayed. For a vector, the vector arrow is flipped so that it points in the opposite direction. |
Trim or break elements.
Specify locations at even increments along an element.
Change the attributes of splines including the locations of the nodes, the tangent vector directions and magnitudes.
Change the attributes of a surface.
Add, delete, or move nodes within a polyline, or create individual line elements that resemble a chosen polyline.
Tangency
Connect two separate surfaces or splines by re-drawing and extending the spline(s) of one entity so that the spline end points coincide with the corresponding spline end points of the other entity. The two splines or two surfaces become connected but remain as two separate entities.
Join
Join two surfaces or splines. The two selected elements are deleted and the joined element is created.
Extend or trim the length of a surface or spline. A surface can be extended or trimmed in multiple directions. Either end of a spline can be extended or trimmed.
Make changes in the text and dimensions contained in your drawing.
Control Points
Modify surfaces or splines by changing the location of their control points.

Move elements to other locations or make copies in other locations
Delete elements, views, and layers. In addition to deleting, you can Undelete (restore) the last element or all previous elements deleted.
