image\CreateFilletMenu_shg.gif Flip Arc

Click Flip Arc to flip an existing arc fillet from less than 180º to greater than 180º, or vice versa. (This operation cannot be used on fillets that are splines.) You will be prompted to select an arc to complement or a vector to flip direction.

image\CreateFilletMenu_shg.gif Chain

Use Chain to create many fillets at one time along a chain of elements. The Select Chain menu appears.

After you click the Done button, a fillet is created between each pair of elements along the contour that was chained. Each element is trimmed. The Trim 0 and Trim 1 buttons have no control over the trim. If Create Element(s) on the Fillet dialog box is set to Both, the fillets are arcs.

The following commands appear after the first fillet possibility appears.

image\CreateFilletMenu_shg.gif Other

Click Other to display the other tangent possibilities for the fillet. The number of the current possibility is also listed on the button.

image\CreateFilletMenu_shg.gif Reverse

Reverse appears only if Trim was set to Trim 1 or Trim 2. Reverse is intended for use on arcs trimmed by the fillet. Click Reverse, then click an element trimmed by the fillet. The complement of the trimmed element appears. If you click the fillet, you reverse both the fillet and the trimmed elements.
