To create a line, click Create > Line. The following menu appears.

Tangent
Create a line tangent to elements or locations.
Other 0
After the new line appears, click Other 0 to see all possibilities.
Location
When you click Tangent, the Location button appears on the menu.

Click Location to display the Select Point menu, and select a point.
Endpoints
Click Endpoints to display the Select Point menu and select the starting and ending points.
String
Click String and the Create Line String dialog box appears. Create separate line segments that connected end to end, or a single Polyline.
Horizontal
Create horizontal lines, according to the current CView.
Vertical
Create vertical lines, according to the current CView.
Both
Click a single location to create both a horizontal and vertical line.
Angle
Click Angle and the following menu appears.

Info Change
The Create Line At Angle dialog box appears.
Location
The Select Point menu appears. Select a point to create the line.
Cross Product
Cross Product creates a line one unit long, perpendicular to a plane defined by two lines you select. Switch to Isometric view (CTRL-7) to see the new line.
Select two lines that define a plane.
Select the endpoint of the line.
Create a line of equal length and parallel to the selected line. You control the distance.
The Create Line Rectangle dialog box appears.
