HOW TO RUN INC TO APT

The INC2APT utility is an EXE (executable) file that is used to convert an INC file to the APTCL format. APTCL format is used by some post processors to produce NC code.

You can run this utility:

  1. From the NC Operations Manager dialog box by selecting a Setup Section or a single operation and then double-clicking on the APT-CL option listed in the Post List box. This will run the INC2APT utility and produce an APT file.

  2. By double-clicking in the Explorer. The INC2APT.EXE program is located in the C:\SURFCAM\SURFxxxx sub-directory.

  3. By typing inc2apt in the command prompt. Command line options are indicated in red in the parameter descriptions on the Convert INC To APT File dialog box.

Note: Options followed by a number argument must be separated by a space.

Example:  

C:\SURFCAM\SURF2000\INC2APT -w -5 -F 1 -R 45 -I "%p%n" -O "%p%N.apt
