Surface Speed
Surface Speed is a value listed in the Material Library. This value varies with the material being cut and the material from which the tool is made. It is used in calculating the Spindle Speed.
Chip Load
This is the Chip Load Per Flute value listed in the Tool Library for the selected tool. It is used in the calculation of the Feed Rate. See Chip Load definition.
