Part / Material Example, open pocket

1. Click NC > 2 Axis > Contour.

2. Click Part , and then chain the geometry shown in blue in the illustration.
   
   

3. Click Material , and then chain the geometry shown in red in the illustration.

4. Click the Done button. The Contour dialog box appears.

5. Under the Cut Control tab, under the On Sides column, set Amount to Remove great enough to remove the material. Set the other dialog values and click OK.
   
   The toolpath appears.
   
   

For jobs such as the following, with more than one open area to remove, repeat the above steps for each area.
