Select the polyline.
Select all of the nodes to move.
Click the Done button.
The Select Point menu will be displayed and you will
be prompted to "Select a location to move from." The point you
choose here has nothing to do with the existing location of any of the
nodes you are moving. It is merely the base or starting location which—when
combined with a second point you will be prompted to select—will determine
the distance and direction that the nodes will be moved.
Select the base location. SURFCAM puts a square on the base location.
The Select Point menu will still be displayed and you
will be prompted to "Select a location to move to." Select a
point. SURFCAM analyzes the distance and direction of this point from
the base point and moves the nodes you selected the same distance and
direction from their original locations and redraws the polyline.
You can continue to change the "move to" position until you
are satisfied.
Click the Back button to continue to select the nodes. SURFCAM moves the nodes to different locations and redraws the polyline.
When you are satisfied with the new location of the nodes, click Back and you will be returned to the Edit > Polyline menu.
