Visualizing the Results
- Activate the Irradiation1 Monitor Plot display to view the irradiation variation at the solid-fluid interface as the flow develops.
At the end of the calculation it should look as shown below.
- Click on the tab for the Scalar Scene 1 display to see the temperature result for the converged solution.

By default, cell values are shown. To make the display smoother:
- Select the Scenes > Scalar Scene 1 > Displayers > Scalar 1 node.

- In the Properties window, set the Contour Style property to
().

The contours of the scalar display now appear smooth.
Click on the tab for the Reports Plot display to see graph of the maximum temperature monitors for the fluid and the solid.
The Heat Flux 1 report may be run to determine the heat flux leaving the system at the top boundary.
- Right-click the Reports > HeatFlux1 node.
- Select from the pop-up menu.
- The Output window shows the heat flux leaving the system.

- Save the simulation.
